Wondering how many of you I will meet at Road Atlanta the end of this month. If no one shows up Ill have another piece of plastic. At least the first place trophy doesnt say how many entrants there were.

I will be there. I won't be racing but I am going to help my friend who got into racing this year on his IT-7. He might buy my car though so you will see the purple machine next season (im hoping). But, I will be at the track just not in a driver suit.

Since my crank is still on the bench without a block surronding it... my goal is the Daytona double in early August.
Aiken's car is all in one piece, he's 40 minutes from the track and hungry to make up the points gap some old codgers have on him.
AJ's car is still in pieces and he is suffering dot.com downturn woes.
I wouldn't be surprised to see Court pull in from Pine Mountain, he's too good to just roll over and give up last year's championship.
I'm not telling you to go to the local farm supply and buy any orange triangles, but be prepared to have to turn 17 laps in the 1:32 range to get that little piece of plated plastic.
I will be there, with a new battery

I think Ill head down to the farm store.
I am going to try to make it. Of course I don't have to worry about running into Frog again so this will be a good time to get some points from him. Watch out for Marshall. His car is almost completely rebuilt. I hear he is running nitros too!!!
You weren't supposed to tell anyone AJ.

Was he not supposed to tell anyone that he is re-emerging from the Kershaw dust?, or that Marshal is using Ntros? Or both?
I hope to be at Road Atlanta to play with you guys. Hope we can get a good field of six to eight cars. I need some advise though ,who can help me with info about installing an oil cooler?

So far it looks like Ill get a fourth.
Court,
They finally ran some of those new fangled telephone wires up to Pine Mountain...
Glad to have you on board. We need the contributions of a champion.
On the oil cooler I have a few ideas...
One is to post a specific inquiry in the engine query section. State the year and model of that red rocket. You will find a lot of the guys driving new VDs came up through the Reynard ranks.
Two is to call Rollin and ask his opinion.
Three, give me a call.
Court,
I had a 4th idea.
Mount it above your rollbar, facing forward. That may slow you down enough for us to catch up.
Who's doing the test day?

Test day. Give us a break.
You should be able to show up just in time for the race and start from the back, and still win.
Or, have you snuck some vortex generators on the undersides of those Swift front wings and not told anybody.
Montfort don't need no silly test day. He says he is going to sit in his car Friday at home, with his leaf blower pointed in his face and save the $200.
I will be at the test day helping Richard in his black #35 IT-7. I also got word that I won't be racing any this fall. Financial situation requires me to watch instead.
Hey Frog,
Im gonna save that 200 bucks so I can buy a 300 mph leaf blower. That will give me enough downforce to blow out the rear tires.
I guess it's just going to be me and Court unless Laterra makes a surprise visit. You might as well load the Swift in the trailer since you are coming anyway and play with us Andy. Atl. office said there were 26 cars in group 2 as of Wednesday, but they couldn't ell me class breakdown. Could get interesting.
Mike, I'm not testing the Swift. I don't need any more parts than necessary to fall off the car. Need to make it to Daytona. Just going to play in the VD for a while.
