Default turn off thread post notifications?

I just started receiving notifications when someone posts in a thread that I've previously posted in. How do I turn this feature off?

    Thanks, Brian

Easiest way is go into the thread and select Thread Tools. Unsubscribe is one of the choices.

    • Go into User CP
    • Left Column, in Settings and Options
    • Select "Edit Options"
    • Under "Messaging and Notifications"
    • There is a whole set of options, but the one you want is " Default Thread Subscription Mode" Choose "No Email Notification"
    • Click Save Changes at the very bottom of the page.

    OR

    • Go into User CP
    • Left Column, in Subscribed Threads > Folders Subscriptions
      List Subscriptions
    • You can toggle the threads that you want subscriptions for

    or
    • "Selected Threads" drop menu >
    • Update subscription type

It was my mistake in making some updates to the forum database structure, and I inadvertently turned the setting ON for everyone. It's simple enough to toggle, though.

    Sorry again,

Thanks! I was just about to post asking the same question.
