Man, that transition in T3/T4 looks rough.

Yeah, it's a transition across the dragstrip. In 2007 the cars were almost undrivable through there, they get airborne at 125mph or so. Chris Billings of the Shock Shop was at Topeka this year and he valved most of the top cars in DSR and CSR. The cars became drivable this year due to his work.
So I saw two guys get by him at the beginning and then he passed one back but I never saw him pass the other one. Did he drop out? Great race and awesome car Lee!
Thanks Dave, I thought Mark won.
First start was waved off, It certainly looked better than the second which you see in the video. But as we all know virtually anything goes after a wave off.
If you look closely at the begining of the video you can see Mark getting squeezed on both sides, and you thought they didn't paint the Stohrs just to save weight!
I happened to be paddocked next to Mark, that's a great video system he has, Great quality video

fantastic video to watch, what video system is it anyway?
The video is tremendous. There is some color on the Jaremko car and the side looks fresh in this shot, Jim.

I think the camera goes with the AIM system, you can add data to the video screen also.
Got it from Ellen Ferguson at Veracity Data.
Hey Guys,
Its a Chase Cam system. I purchased it from Ellen @ Veracity Racing Data. Very simple to set up and use.

Excellent video for sure Mark. I can tell you this, as close as you and JR looked at the start in the vid, it looked a lot closer from behind you two. All I could see in front of me was wall to wall, literally, carbon. And the amount of dust coming from between you and JR and JR and the wall was pretty impressive. One thing was for sure, if any poopoo had happened, it would have been impassable at best.
Congrats on your years of crazy success in D, you and Lee both have shown the rest how it should be done. It was nice to meet you two up there. By the way your "I thought I had it, and then it started rolling" is on my top ten list of best racing lines ever.
Best of luck to you next year, your new class is most lucky to have you.
So what class is Mark moving into?
