I have an extra set like the type seen in the first photo on this listing. They are new, (cost was $600 six monthe ago) and are drilled for both Van Diemen and Swift patterns. They are bare wheels, no tires. I would like $350 to include shipping in the lower states.

I use paypal so can accept charge cards through that service. Money order via snail mail is ok too.

Please contact me via email blueheroninn@sbcglobal.net

    Default Probably the same.

As the FE car is built by VanDiemen/Elan it probably has the same drive pin set-up as a VanDiemen FC/Zetec.

Yes, it does. When I bought paddock wheels several years ago for my FE, I just bought the standard VD pattern and they work great.

    Best regards,

I thought I would bring up the point that trailer/paddock wheels that raise the car up high enough to get into the trailer, etc. are not suitable for suspension set-up as the geometry of the suspension changes too much.

Charles, Not being a math major how does the geometry change except for ground height? Dennis

I've only known these as being transport wheels. The sole purpose.

The extra ground clearance for loading/unloading and less rolling resistance = easier moving around the shop.

    Dennis,

Think bump steer and the relationship of the angles of the suspension arms at static. If you have an absolutely straight ZERO bump steer "curve" then the toe won't change regardless of ride height. However, I have never seen a straight "curve" . . . . .
