    Default 5.5" clutch disc info

Can anyone give me the correct part number for a 5.5" tilton clutch disc for a tilton clutch on a Pinto motor? Any recommendations for a source would also be appreciated.

    Thanks in advance,

    Jeff W

    Default Depth of groove

    Michael,
Would you know the depth of the groove that aligns the clutch housing in the flywheel?
    Thanks,
    Jim

Default A tenth of an inch

A tenth of an inch, 100 thousandths or .097 - .100.......we talked about the possibility of taking that off the clutch legs which would work but there would be no location from the grove. Anyway groove is the same as the 7.25" at .100

Doug Carter if you can point to these files already existing at Apex to save memory please do

Quarter Master makes 5.5 clutches / discs, don't know if they are compatable with Tilton. www.racingclutches.com

    Default Thanks

Thanks to everyone for their feedback. I finally identified the clutch disc I needed - Tilton metallic sintered with an "A" hub. Yes the QM clutch does work up to a point. The hub depth on that one is about 1/16" thicker than the Tilton. If it doesn't interfere with the fingers then its fine.
