Default Had forgotten all about this possibility

Hadn't heard anything about this since Fry called Brawn back in the spring. Most importantly, this hopefully signals that Honda has finally abandoned the ivory tower committee management style that has been their albatross.

And with that little development, I'm betting we hear tomorrow that Fred will take's Flavio's lucarative offer.

Too true. Too many dirty hands involved at Renault. But as Dan W quoted Hunter Thompson earlier; something like "the strangeness continues," I won't be surprised if there is no even handed "justice" handed down from the WMSC.

So, what could Bernie have said to team principles in an emergency meeting ? I'm guessing it was "you all do it (spying), so clean up your files pronto before the press crucifies all of us."

Renault has always been notoriously cheap... If they get handed the same sort of fine that McLeran got, I can see Goshen packing up all his crayons and going home. If F1 does not make business sense (ROI) to the the Renualt Board, the budget conscious Goshen will recommend withdrawal. Remember they lost Fernando as a driver because they could not commit long term to F1 at the end of the 2005 season.
