Anyone have the FC results from Blackhawk this past weekend?

Hi Dale,

After a four month gap in racing I was able to saddle up for the last race of the year. The weather was a bit chilly in the am hours but there wasn't a cloud in the sky. Tim Walsh was there with his new Zetec and Terry Heffelfinger had his new ride from the Craigos.

Saturday am practice the track was lacking a little grip but by qualifying the sun had warmed things up and the track was great. Sundays condition were just like Saturday qualifying.
On the start Tim Walsh got a great jump from the #2 spot and contended for T1 eventually yielding with front tires locked up (thanks Tim!). Dan Cobb expired on Lap 14 with mechanical issues. The 24 laps went quickly and it was a great way to end the season.

Thanks John, nice job. Sorry to see you and Mark selling your cars. Hope to see you at the track sometime next year just to hang out. We will be the only FC with the steel head so we should be easy to find.

Thanks Dale. If the cars don't sell we'll just continue to race them. You won't be the only one with the steel head so look forward to some racing between Carter, Norton and Hutchison!

Any off season race car plans?

Nothing major, just a bunch of little things. Had the motor out of the car and went through everything rearward while we were waiting for our head to came back from Steve. Looking forward to the first national at Blackhawk already.
