    Default Side pod bottom width?

Well, I started making new side pod bottoms, because the ones that came with the car were trashed, and had a question on the width they can legally be. The ones I'm copying stick out almost two inches from the outside of the side pod. I remember reading someplace that the bottom of the car can't excide the widest part of the bodywork.... but I reread the formula portion of the GCRs and can't seam to find it. Even with the extra two inches the total width is still is under the 130cm max. So, can the bottom of the side pods extend past the edge of the bodywork or not?

    Thanks,
    Dan

    Default

Yes, as long as the total width does not exceed 95cm. (37 7/16")
