I will be at Grattan for the GLC in my Reynard 90SF - the car is done for all but a start up. In fact I will be at Waterford Hills in in early May for the WHRRI event. Car is in excellent condition with a few new features.

Jeff - I went down to Averills and I saw 3 1/2 Reynards - one 89 of Steve Myers, one 89 of Frank Gaffne, my 90 and your 84 frame. I also saw Dave Bull's 95 VD. He indicated that he would make the first GL race at Grattan. You may remember Dave as he had a very nice Lola 340 FF - in my opinion one of the prettiest cars ever penned - Along with the 87-90 Reynards of course.

How can we get the Frog up here for maybe the September 8 & 9 ??? Maybe make that weekend a Reynard Fest??? I can feel for CoreyC ,Honda is coming out with a new Accord and new model change over means lots of overtime and Saturdays!!!We are even going to work some of our July 4th shutdown.So now I can not surprise everyone by showing up at Waterford in My 85 Tiga S2000.. I will be doing the Nelson Ledges Double School In my friends SSC Honda Civic. I am not sure when my first race weekend will be yet because of work??

By September 8th I might just have saved enough cash to have a complete racecar rebuilt again. So much for my big plan to qualify a Reynard for the Runoffs...

If i'm working at the Runoffs again, I probably can't fit the Great Lakes trip into the same relative time frame. I'll probably do the Formula Car Festival at RRR that weekend.

Everytime I order more replacement parts from Averill he harasses me about how great the Michigan tracks are, and that I need to come up there and get my butt kicked.

The Waterford Hills season opens this weekend. At least 5 CFC's entered so far (Fergus, Gaffney, Keep, MacDonald and Myers) and I think there will be 2 more (Pace and Burke). I'll be testing a new Dynomax Ultra Flo muffler setup which will be available to Great Lakes Challenge competitors for the Waterford round.

Just downloaded the Grattan entry form. Not the normal double schedule. Qualifying for Sunday's 15 lap race will be a 7 lap qualifying race! Positions for the qualifying race will be based on the best lap from Saturday's race. A lot like the schedule Waterford runs. Should be fun!

Speaking of Waterford we had 7 CFC and 1 FC at last weekend's opening race. Unfortunately we lost one in Saturday qualifying due to crash damage and another Sunday morning due to a mechanical failure. But 5 CFC's finished the weekend and enjoyed good racing. Results are up on MyLaps for those who are interested.
