I need to back up a little bit. I don't want to create any non-believers out of those sitting on the fence by my exageration of the facts. It's probably well known that I love my ISAAC as much as Greg M. loves that other device, but I miscalculated the ease that the ISAAC can be attached by oneself.Originally posted by Quickshoe:
If you can close your eyes and stick your fingers in your ears without missing you can put on an ISAAC.
I always have help getting all strapped in. The device can be removed as quickly and easily as I stated in my orignal post. I close my eyes and unbuckle everytime as practice just in case I have to do it for real.
I had never attempted to put the device on by myself until this last weekend. While it is possible and not what I would call difficult, it is not as easy as I made it sound. Without my arm restraints on I could put it on in about 30 seconds. Not going to make me late for the grid, but not exactly a 2 second deal. I am sure I could get quicker with a little practice as putting the right side on took me about 4 seconds the left side took me almost 30.
