i am going to buy r factor, and i was wondering are all the downloads with the newer cars and tracks free or you have to pay additional for them. Do they have a karting sym also?

What version is the latest so i buy the correct one

When you buy rFactor, you get the basic game with a few cars and tracks. All other tracks and cars are free to download. You will need to download V.1150 for the game and v.1250 for all the newest features. It's a one time payment. After that, all you have to do is download and enjoy from the wide variety of tracks and cars available.

There are a few karting mods available. Some realistic, some not so.

If you plan on running on Tues nights you need to have the v1250 loaded.
go to www.rfactorcentral.com and there are tons of car and track mods available (including some superkarts I believe) for free. You can get the v1250 update there as well
