    Default 2007 Renault F1

I like the new colors. ING is my online bank too - over 4% yearly return with no minimum account balance penalties/fees .

Not trying to pick a fight here Jason, but how many clowns are going to get out of that thing when they make a pit stop. Pick a color, any color but maybe limit it to 2 or 3. One thing you gotta love about Ferrari...the car will be red, with a little white and maybe some black. No big changes, year after year.

The aero package is a different story. Those are the beefiest "mirror mounts" I've seen in a long time. Can I order those from Pegasus?

I think it looks great. Both the shape and paint. Shape kinda reminds you of the Stohr F-1000 car. Wonder if Renault copied it.

Not only is it unattractive, it's a good example of "Urban Camoflage' All those shapes and colors break the car up so that it's not recognizable against a multi-colored background (like a crowd and sponsor signage???)

I bet they figure this out before the first race, because the sponsors will be asking "where's the car?"

Hey guys if a few of these sponsors would offer to pay for your racing efforts you would paint your cars what ever color they asked.......

Just got off the f1-live site and rushed over here to start new topic: Is it just me or is the new Renault livery horrible? I guess I got beat to the punch...

I like the orange and white, and I like the blue and yellow, but I hate the orange and white and blue and yellow!!!!

Color aside, I bet its fast as hell!

I would paint my car pink and be sponsored by tampax if they paid me.

I'm just glad Frankie A is out of the way so Fisi can finally get the "GOOD" car!!!

If this car doesn't win 10 races I will be surprised.

F1 paint jobs have always been sponsor driven, remember this IS the old Benetton team..now those cars had a nutty sense of fashion.

Heck it looks like a NAZCAR with that slapped together, we just signed that sponsor last nite look.

Default I can't believe Briatore said this out loud!

    A quote from F1-live:

Briatore also said Giancarlo Fisichella is in his opinion 'the sixth or seventh best driver' in Formula One.

Nothing like encouraging your driver to mediocrity! I guess he's waiting to dump Fisico and get Piquet in the seat!

He has said it over the Radio before, and it was picked up on the TV Broadcast... Something along the lines of .... "Your X Seconds slower then Fed, You have the same car and fuel, get on wiht it"... May not be exact words, but the general gist. I honestly don't understand the Renualt Driver Line Up Decisions.

Cole, I don't know you but I like you. Back when I was young and hungry I stepped from karts into a CDCRA car (think Legend car but open wheel with DSR engine rules on alcohol)--anyway I used to say the same thing except mine would have also had the required rookie streamer off the rear downtube.

I thought that X-wing type aero aids were banned after Tyrrell first tried them, on the grounds they were hideously ugly and not becomming of an F-1 car? Now they are popping up all over the place, still ugly as ever.

yep yep, one of the first things i noticed after the mirrors. i kinda of wondered if they're not banned why didn't they make them straight off the engine cover for more downforce?

I've herd that in 08/09 they are going to clean up the cars and get rid of all the "winglets" when they go back to low downforce, big hp and hopefully slicks.

Ha !!! good one. Looks like a lot of helmet paint jobs; interesting from 2 feet but a blurry mess from farther away.
