Default Trailer Interior Wiring - Tips?

My trailer has the standard 12V interior lights / switches. I have collected various components over the year to begin improving the interior lighting to a 110V lighting and plugs with a twist lock RV plug for the generator outside.

Has anyone done this before and have any notable "if I were to do it again" lessons learned? Plug placement? Panal size? Lighting tips?

    Thanks

    Jonathan

    Default trailer wiring

    Hi Jon,
One of my crew members is an electrician and he wired my new cube van/RV for generator plug, breaker box etc. You can talk to him at the next race.

    Default 10 ga wire

Try to use the largest gauge wire you can afford especially on any extension cord.

I ran the horizonal runs up high at the wall / roof jount and any vertical drops were put in flexible conduit for protection and I had it laying around.
