Car updates??

Hi
We havent raced in a few years and was wondering what the rules were for seat belt exp date was along with the fire ext bottle. Also what about the snell rating on the helmet?? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome back!

SFI-rated belts now expire on December 31 of the 2nd year after the date of manufacture (stamped on the SFI tag). FIA-approved belts are tagged with an expiration date, and SCCA will honor that (regardless of any SFI tags on the same belts).

Fire systems must be at least 5 pounds Halon or 2.25 Liters of AFFF or equivalent.

Helmets must be Snell SA95 or newer.

If you've been away for very long, I'd recommend a new GCR to check for other rules changes as well!
