    Default Oil Tank Volume

I am working on a project that has the 13b engine. It is a dry sump and I want to replace the 3 gallon oil tank with something smaller. What size oil tank is used on the Formula Mazda's?

I have both a Formula Mazda and Pro Formula Mazda, both with 13Bs. Unless someone changed the configuration, the former is wet sump (and the latter is dry sump). The Pro Formula Mazda uses a Hewland FTR200 series gearbox with a 7.5 liter integral oil sump.

Thanks for that info. Why run a dry sump on the rotory? Is it only for ground clearance?

I assume so. The bottom of the rotor housings are basically sitting on the belly pan, which itself is only an inch and a quarter off the ground.
