help needed
hello, i need to be in southlake texas on monday feb 11th for a very minor outpatient surgery. they have a rule where i can't just walk out but need to be " discharged " to someone to walk out the door. is there anyone here willing to pick me up at the dr office and give me a ride to my hotel ? will pay the freight.

Same here. Even for a simple colonoscopy.
They don't want you to put a teapot on to boil, fall asleep on the couch, and burn your house down.
Some of us could do that without benefit of drugs, but they wouldn't be responsible then.

There are medical transport companies around my neck of the woods (fancy taxi cab companies) that my doctors have never had a problem releasing me to. MY wife does not drive so I have had to use them.
..and there it is. Some facilities will even accept a regular cab if they have assurance of a babysitter when you get home.
