Bob Wright gets his due
I just heard through the grapevine that Bob Wright has been accepted into the Road Racing Drivers Club, and will be inducted on January 24th at the RRDC banquet at the Daytona 500 Club.
Those in the know can appreciate all that Bob has done for the sport, especially small bore formula car racing. Integral in the creation of the F2000 Championship Series (now known as Formula Race Promotions), Bob has been a major supporter of formula car racing for decades. Even being a series promoter has not prevented him for continuing to race in FC/F2000 himself. So... a racer, and an organizer... a great combination for understanding what racers desire from the events they attend.
We should thank Dave Weitzenhof for nominating Bob. Good Job!
