I know it's probably been discussed ad nauseam, but what is the typical max height/weight driver the FC95 can tolerate? At 6'2" 205lbs, do I have any chance of fitting in this thing?

Come and sit in the car and find out. Shoe size is more an issue. Size 12 and above is an issue.

    Default Hans

If you do decide to sit in the car, take your helmet and HANS. It can be done, but you are pushing the upper limit in this generation of Van Diemen. The problem is the lack of clearance behind you to accommodate a HANS. I’m 6-4 and had to move from a 94/95 to a later model for that reason. You may need to move yourself forward, and that creates its own set of issues.

You will be fine, but you may have to have a foam seat made.
I used to own this car(I’m pretty sure it was mine, anyway) and I’m 6’2” and 240 ish. I fit without the seat insert that came with it. You are basically sitting on the floor, but that’s no problem. The extra hoop on the roll bar was for added height.

as Matt said, be concerned with foot room and thigh area through the chassis. The RF95’s are one of the best for bigger people.

I have had some people sit in car about your size and and the fit could be made. We removed the my foam seat and all that was left was adjusting the pedal cluster. The pedal cluster can easily be adjusted forward.

I'm 6', ballooned to 230. I sit on a chunk of 1/4" ensolite with a bead seat surround. Back is maybe one bead thick down the middle. The trick to the HANS fitment is to remove the stock VD thick head pads and put in something very thin. I 3d printed one out of TPU.

As previously stated, foot size is the real big issue. I wear 13s normally, 11.5s in the car, and I go to a race store to try things on before buying. Pedals have been very carefully crafted over the years, and there's a metal plate in my right shoe to keep my foot from "flowing" around the brake pedal and holding the gas down under hard braking.

The car is now in Maryland-DC area. Will most likely run on the RIGHT Coast.
