I wanted to get the word out on this special event at Road American in September of 2024. If you own or race a Healey, Austin Healey, or any other Healey related car you'll want to be in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin 9/13-9/15.

Healey Racers,
RE: Celebration of the Austin Healey Double Event September 2024

The Wisconsin chapter of the Austin Healey Club of America (WC-AHCA) will be hosting the national Austin Healey Conclave event in the Sheboygan/Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin area the week of September 15-19, 2024. This picturesque area of Wisconsin is about 2.5 hours driving time north of Chicago, Illinois and offers wonderful Healey driving roads, car and motorcycle museums, attractions, and just about anything that would appeal to Healey drivers.

Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin is also home to one of the most iconic racetracks in the United States, Road America, America’s National Park of Speed. This 4.04 mile circuit was established in 1955 and has been a drivers favorite from the beginning. This is a true bucket list track experience. The Vintage Sports Car Drivers Association (VSCDA) will be hosting their annual Ariens Art on Wheels vintage racing fall festival weekend at Road America September 13-15, 2024. This is an incredibly popular event that attracts more than 350 vintage racing competitors!

I want to make you aware that VSCDA and WC-AHCA are in the planning stages of making Austin Healey the feature marque for that weekend. The tentative title is “The Cars of Donald Healey.” It is very likely this means there will be Austin Healey feature races. The races would be open to race-prepared big Healeys, Sprites, square bodies, Jenson-Healeys, Elliots, Tickfords, Silverstones, etc. With enough Healey entrants, there is a likelihood of both big Healey and small Healey feature races.

With two Austin-Healey focused events back-to-back in the middle of the US, It is a realistic expectation that this could be the biggest Austin Healey race gathering in many, many decades, if ever! Something you’ll want to be a part of!!
