    Default 2024 Pocono Majors?

I know the Northeast schedule may not be complete yet but just curious if there is any insight here on whether Pocono will make it onto the Majors schedule as it was last year. We attended and thought it was a very well run event, very light in FF entries but so were several majors events. I would definitely be interested in going if it makes the cut.

Not on the latest, still tentative, schedule. If that stands, it means one fewer NE Majors (leaving 6, including VIR) than 2023.

Unfortunately, there will be no SCCA Major at Pocono in 2024 due to schedule conflicts and region concerns.

Thanks for attending in 2023 - glad you enjoyed it.

The Pocono double National used to be a great event, especially when Oscar was around.

I know who you meant there. :-)

Never bought the RC version M8B, despite seeing the Pilot himself operating its controls at a little bit of pavement near Elkhart.

That guy ruled. Miss the catalogs. And the PRDC. Surely Tony A to Z did, too.

Oscar was a huge part of SCCA racing at Pocono. I thoroughly enjoyed working with him over the years.

He has indeed passed on, right?

It came to me on good authority that he was also screwed blind on a stock scam, as were we, and D. Hobbs, and a ton of others.
