    Default Another One-Off FF

    OK, here's another one?
At least 30 years ago at Brainerd I saw a homebuilt FF which had, to me, the outstanding feature of a front sway bar made from tubing with crank arms from bicycle pedal cranks. They amazed me and set me on my quest to always use the cheapest available parts to fit the purpose.
I remember nothing else about the car except it was probably built in Minnesota or Wisconsin. Don't even remember if it was competitive.
    Anybody remembers this?

Could that be the car built by Minnesota’s Scott Hutchinson? I believe he called it an LOL? (He was an avid Land O Lakes Region member)

So a nice shade of gray, then.

The car I meant was our late friend Danny Collins’. He was from Colorado and retired from competing around that time, just throwing it out there.

I know nothing about the Hutchinson car Jack mentioned, though knew that driver much earlier.

Who could have predicted that that great SCCA chapter’s name could change meanings towards comedy? The only thing more comical might be Las Mancos Automobile Owners.
