    Default 2024 Run Offs Date?

Maybe I am just not seeing it, but has the date been set for the 24 Run Offs? Laying out our team schedule for next year and want to make sure we are not double booking...........

    … the Gore-Tex ones?

Risky dates in my childhood state…. at least, back then.

We’d go if we could camp all week like everywhere else (Road Atlanta, Topeka, Laguna Seca, Mid-Ohio, VIR, the lot).

Or we’ll race if fortunes look up.

No political commentary, but I found it amusing that the average temperature for the 2023 Runoff week was higher at Road America than VIR.

As a true Canadian/Western New Yorker, I have absolutely no problems racing in adverse conditions, which may well happen if racing at RA in the fall, but Hurricane season in the Southeast is a real threat, as we saw in 2022 when many competitors and virtually all spectators stayed away from the Runoffs.

The last one or two weekends in September are generally great weather in Wisconsin, particularly for racing. Sunny, little chance of rain, and cooler air. Road America in September makes great horsepower.

Thanks Guys. I’m a Glen GP survivor, and love bad weather actually, a sickness further developed high in the mountains.

We got super lucky at VIR this year, was absolutely *pouring* on arrival late Saturday, got scared, used a hankie ;-), the next nine days were awesome. RA should be great!

Reid, are you out of school yet, or will you need a note from the parents to attend? ;-)
