    Default Car Width

Could folks share the width of their cars, possibly even with wheels and tires off? Our toyhauler has a 63" wide garage under our rear bedroom. We carry our Harley back there and was wondering if a FV would fit in there if I made up some sort of dolly for it and removed the wheels and tires. I dont have my car yet, picking it up after Thanksgiving.

Front width on C/Cup wheels is just under 60 inches..Rear just under 59. Stock wheels and slicks will be a narrower.
Most Toy Haulers have a very steep ramp which will present a bit of an issue. Maybe jack and boards will be needed.
The nose will need to be removed before loading. backing in may help.
Good luck with the pick up

Your overall length could also be an issue. FV maximum length is 127" and with the nose off could be up to 6" shorter depending on the make and configuration of stuff forward of the beam. Most toy haulers are intended for motorcycles and four wheelers not cars. Sherman is correct on the steep ramp and most FV have 2"-4" ground clearance so ramps might be needed. Putting something under the fold down door and 2"x6" for extended ramp might help.

Ours is a bit different than the norm, it has a motorcycle garage under the rear bedroom with a low ramp door to make riding a bike in easier. Width is 63", length is 117".

Looks Great for a vee. Nose off and possibly remover rear shifter guard. If Battery mount is on front beam that may need to come off.
    See you at the track!!

    "length is 117""

You might find that the center length is longer. Several Toy Haulers I looked at had shorter lengths but the center area is an aisle that is long and wide enough for the nose to protrude into, making the length effectively longer.

It is not the garage width but the rear door width that is the choke point.

It fits......the ramp door is the width of the garage, it fits with old school vw rims and tres on it, have to take the challenge cup set up off. The garage is small, under our bedroom with a power floor that lowers down once we load it up. Designed for a Harley which we do often, but it will work for the car as well. It has a lower than normal ramp door for bikes but I will get some ramp extenders as well.
