    Default Second Gen DRRS

The second Generation DRRS is now built and was successfully tested at the ARRC.

This latest version has a much lower and lighter base made of chrome moly. It was lowered so that it easily fits below standard Mysterian style FV exhaust systems. Matt Seim installed the system on the ex, Operation Rescue Evo and he loved it. He was able to dial out understeer at Atlanta's turn 7 with just a couple of clicks. a couple of minor engine issues prevented the car front being at its best in a straight line but it was top notch in the corners.

    Default My impressions

I had the pleasure of driving the evolution at the Atlanta race, and I do mean pleasure. What I found driving the car was that the handling was incredibly predictable and level on the track. First session on the track I felt the car had some understeer and consulted Brad about this. after discussing how the car was behaving he gave me the changes to make. This took minutes with only hand tools (no scaling, no complicated measurements) because it was shock settings! Next session the car was incredibly neutral, exactly how you would want. This was my first time driving this car and was on podium in both races.
