Do a proper Bead or foam seat.

Yes....expensive and a PITA to do but a lot cheaper than one of those wheelchairs that you operate with your lips.

Thanks for the referral but I plan to keep mine. While I did recently do a foam seat (that was an interesting experience), I plan to keep my old one with the car for the next guy.
