Default Finding That Last Second on the Racetrack | SCCA Shop Manual

Going fast on a racetrack isn’t hard, but going REALLY fast is. How can you find that last second when hunting for the ultimate lap time? Multi-time SCCA National Champion Michael Varacins explains what it took for him to win his road racing titles, and what he’s doing to continue that success.

I like this part that mounts both ARB adjustors together. Is this something off the shelf that you can buy or did he make that himself?

Great video, and whomever came up with the concept of what I assume is a series should be applauded.

I have a lot of respect for Michael. We camped for eight days inside the last turn at VIR, watching how people handled that *very* tricky section, and voted Varacins best of all. Man, he was impressive through there!

They have been doing them for a while now. His FV appeared in one about Formula Vee tech about 5 years ago. This was shot at the Sprints, I can see my old silver Ford ranger in the thumbnail image.
