Default Pro Super Vee Log Book

Does anyone know if the pro Super Vee car's were issued SCCA log books between 1980 and end of the series ?

    Thanks, Thomas

I do know one person who ran a couple of races in 1980. His car had an SCCA logbook. IIRC the road race part was sanctioned by SCCA so probably was required to have SCCA logbook

    Not sure this helps, but...

A friend has an ‘83 Anson that likely ran Pro, then in 1985 a first logbook entry first shows at a Driver’s School/Regional driven by Terry McKenna and then the Runoffs by same.

So either the Pro series used no logbook (which would be news to us), the original logbook was lost, or the car’s very first race was when well over two years old, which is suspect to me...

    Default SV Log Books

My Ralt RT-1 ran the Gold Cup races in 1979 (G. Brabham), and I have SCCA log books for it.

I just curious, I had a 1980 RT5 back in the late 80s with only SCCA club racing in the entries.
I recently sold my 1978 Argo JM2 that had USAC history but no USAC mini Indy log books but had SCCA club log books.
The original owner told me USAC didn't issue logbooks. I just bought a 1983 RT5 with complete pro history from 1983 to 1987
with 2 deferent drivers but no log books.

You still have your ‘82 Runoffs car, Keith?

I also saw Brabham win the Glen round in ‘78, last race of the year I think. Same car?
