    Default Vintage FV @ Eagles Canyon Raceway (CVAR Sept 2023)

    Absurdly hot weekend, 100+ F with temps breaking 110 on the Test and Tune day on Friday according to the official weather station, no telling how hot it was at the track. Welcome to Texas.

    I was driving a rented 1968 Crusader from Bigger Hammer Racing's rental fleet, the same one I drove at Hallett back in March, but with a much better engine in it than the backup engine. I did fairly well in a field of 18+ cars. (This being a CVAR school weekend, the students joined the fray at the back on Sunday.)
