Up for sale is the 2023 FRP F1600 Championship winning Piper DF05 car driven by Porter Aiken. It is a 2009 chassis and was converted to Honda in 2012. Yes, this is the car that was so fast they had to protest us because they thought we were cheating. (We were not) (1^st time in FRP F1600 history that has happened). The engine is the much sought after O’Leary Honda engine that only has 3 weekends on it since a total rebuild. This engine was built with all brand new parts for the 2022 Runoffs at a cost of over $15,000. It has all the latest legal parts including the legal bigger pistons and the newly approved Fast Forward billet restrictor plate.

The car comes with the AIM Smartycam GP 2.2 84mm camera system, AIM MXL dash, AIM Evo4 data system, new Momo flat bottom 250mm steering wheel, Wilwood LD20 calipers, Dan Campbell custom air box and filter, custom Piper prepped steel wheel bearings, CF aero mirrors, Williams “Black” LD200 gearbox w/ 10:31 ring and pinion, O’Leary prepped Penske shocks, Hyperco spring perches, Schroth 2x2 Formula Harness w/ a 2027 expiration date.

The car was stripped to the bare chassis and sent back to Piper in 2020 where it was sandblasted to bare metal, confirmed straight, powder coated and a new SS floor installed. The car has been extensively massaged and upgraded by Dan Campbell and handles amazingly well and is extremely fast in a straight line. It has been recently dubbed the “Straight Line Special”. Own the car that dominated the 2023 FRP F1600 Pro Series with too many wins, poles, fastest laps, podiums and top 5’s to list.

The spares that come with this car are borderline ridiculous. I'm a little OCD at having everything that I could possibly need at the track. You will need a separate van to carry all the spares home. It is hard to put a value on the spares but the gears alone that come with the car would cost you over $14,000 to buy and the wheels would be over $10,000. You will not find a more complete package available that will give you the best chance to dominate in F1600. I will also give you all of our AIM data files, track gear selections and all in car videos that we have from over the years.
