    Default Formula Ford Engine builders?

    Hi All,
Over the years I've used Formula Ford engines built by Andresen, Williams, Farley, Quicksilver and Arnie Loyning. The current other builders that I'm aware of that I haven't used are Ivey or Cricket farms. Am I missing someone? Are there any new builders to consider? With Arnie's retirement I'm trying to decide where to send an engine?
    Thanks

    Hello Wes,

I've had Arnie and Jay Ivey both build my engines. Jay and his boys do awesome work and support the class. He stands behind his work.

He has great freight contacts for reasonable cost shipping too.

I've "challenged" Rollin's work several times, and his engines have always held up. I'd recommend him any day.

If you're talking about the DB6 engine, that was originally an Ivey.

"Engine Dave" at BritainWest Motorsport is as good as anyone. You ain't nothing in the Toyo F1600 series without a motor from Mr. Clubine's shop.

    best,

Pete at Total Precision Engines. He built a new one for me back in '16. Still running very strong. Great guy too.

And of course, Ivey has always been good from what I've heard.

Default trying to reach Elite Engines

I spoke to Steve at Elite in early November, but I have phoned literally 10 times since then and get no answer.
Anyone have a good way to make contact?

QSRE builds strong and reliable engines, putting together a good package. You will be able to run upfront for hours on end with a motor built by Sandy and Eric!

Highly recommend trying them out, even if your located on the west coast...
