Summit Point RCFFS/FRP Weekend

Hey folks,

I was just curious if anyone on the forum has any insight on the situation of RCFFS running with FRP during the upcoming Summit Point weekend in August. It's my understanding that RCFFS is scheduled to run during this event, but the event supps don't have any mention of that on MotorsportReg.

If RCFFS is planning on running during this event, it would be awesome to see a larger than usual turnout for the FF/CF class. We haven't really had much luck with regards to FF/CF turnouts this season in the SCCA MARRS series, but we've had some pretty competitive races regardless. I know I'll be there in Joe M's Royale running CF and I'm hoping some of you will come out and join in on the fun.

Thanks for posting the question. Yes, RCFFS is planning to race at Summit with the SVRA group the weekend of August 18. Currently working out details with SVRA.

Anyone interested can drop a reply here and I’ll add them to the growing list to get us all synced up with SVRA. Looking for car type, tire preference, engine preference, and have you raced with SVRA before.

It’s going to be a great event!

Thanks for heading this up. My dad and I are each registered for this event. We both have Zink Z10s CFs that run on the Hoosier VFF treaded tires with Kent engines. We've both run with SVRA in the past and look forward to running with the RCFFS.

Unfortunately it looks like Joe and I may not be able to make it due to some recent work obligations, but I appreciate the response! Should be a great event.
