    Default Reeves Calloway

The NE folks all knew Reeves from FV. He ran in early FV IMSA support races at LRP. As his shop took on more projects
I got to know him from the Playboys Races , he was involved with the the GTV that was racing in Showroom Stock.
His Corvettes are know all over the world.
Passed away after a fall at home.

    Default Sad news

So sad to see this. I remember his bright green D-13 here in New England.
    Rest In Peace Reeves.

    Default Callaway

We had the great pleasure of attending the 2023 Amelia Island event with the 94 Callaway LeMans Corvette as part of the Corvette at LeMans Exhibit. Reeves was there with a number of the folks from Germany that built most of the recent racing cars. Its ironic that we just sent the car to the Peterson Museum for a year long display to be displayed in a Corvette section.
    End of an era

Yep, that’s the car Road & Track claims he won the Runoffs in — which he had until engine CCing as I recall. Rollin Butler deserves a correction for a deserved win.

RIP, Reeves was a brilliant guy... and that was even obvious in the D13 fifty years ago this October.
Once we think we’ve mastered something, it’s over
