    Default Speed Waiver

Has anyone used this. OVR is requiring it for their regional in August. I do not have a smart phone and everything I read about speed waiver from speed waiver says that you MUST have a smart phone, take your picture and show it at the registration to get your wristband. Am I missing something or is this true??

I traded chats with somebody from Hagerty and they basically said "figure it out"

What about crew since the driver is the only one who actually has to sign up on MSREG.

    Anyone HELLPPP

I used it for credentials at the Indy 500 but not an SCCA event. I don't know if there is a provision for someone without a smart phone but there must be some workaround. Worst case, you could just have someone in your party with a smart phone do it on your behalf, as long as you're present.

    Default OVR race

I'm sure they will still take your money. Just show up.

Agreed. They will likely still do paper waivers at the gate - that's what PittRace does if you don't have an online, etc., one.

It's not OVR, it's Mid-Ohio that wants it, so it'sthe track waiver. I had to do it to work the Mid-Ohio IndyCar event this weekend.

Do it on a computer and print your confirmation.

I tried the computer and it simply did not respond when I went to the URL the system sent me. I think it uses the phone number on file with you at msreg to send the link to and will not recognize anything else responding. What a pain

    Default Lime Rock

Lime Rock now has a system like this for the track waver. Did it once, will never do again. Took about 5 minutes to do and go through a number steps as opposed to just signing your name. A use of tech that is worst then pre-tech. Why??
