Default Apex Giving Me the Boot!

Recently, I've been getting logged out of Apex constantly without me ever logging out. I haven't *changed* anything on my end - anyone understand why this may be happening? To be truthful, I am somewhat of a technopeasant.......

    thanks

If you mean once you quit out of the browser you have to log back in, that’s always happened to me.

If you mean every time you’re at the apex you’re suddenly in the trees and cutting logs, no forum input can change that. ;-)

When you log in, there is a "Keep Me Logged In" checkbox. Is that checked?

Or, if you are running a VPN, you may get logged out every time you shut down your computer.

On your browser click "remember me." That worked for me.

Websites remember you based on the cookie they set when you sign in. A "cookie" is just a file left on your system that tells a website that you've visited or logged into the website before. If you have your browser set to clear all temp files, cookies, etc.. every time you close the browser it will never remember you. If you have some kind of cleaning app running, it may be doing that as well. Yes, checking any box on a website to "remember you" is telling the website to set a cookie.
