    Default Van Diemen RF97 Wings

Good day, my first post here from South Africa, really need some help.

I've got a Van Diemen RF97, here comes the kicker, with a KTM1290 motor in. Our Formula M club in South Africa is Formula cars with bike motors, Class A is unlimited. Only problem is, we must run wings in Formula M. My car didn't come with wings when I bought it.

I have found new wings online, but they are really out of my budget due to the exchange rate from Rand to Dollar. I'm not sure where to buy used wings that will fit. I can get wings made locally, but I'm not sure about dimensions and I'm afraid of getting it all wrong with balance and down force.

Any advice would be appreciated greatly.

Maybe look up online the SCCA General Competition Rules (GCR) and study the Formula Car section. www.SCCA.com There you will find diagrams as to the width of wings and other information.
Keep your same front crash box and maybe ignore the idea of a 'mustache' wing......but then I just thought your crash box may or may not have side holes for mounting a front wing
