    Default R1 stuck clutch

I have a R1 motor that has been sitting for quite a while and the clutch is stuck. The car is on stand right now. What is the best way to get it lose?

DId you try unbolting the clutch basket? Just remove the clutch cover, and attack the bolts holding the clutch basket that contains the clutch plates.

I'm thinking that the clutch (and engine) are INSTALLED IN THE CAR.
My suggestion would be to RELEASE the clutch activation process.. whatever that might be - might not be too easy to keep it released... - that's AFTER you get it off the stand...
Anyway.. release it and then try rolling the car back and forth as aggressively as you can (IN GEAR, of course).

Other than that... I'm out of ideas...

on motorcycles, with engine off, put in gear, pull in clutch lever, rock it back and forth. Usually that has always freed up mine. If that doesn't work, in neutral lift rear wheel off the ground using center stand or axle lift, run motor until oil is good and warm, pull clutch lever and hope it gets oil in the disks. Put it in gear pull clutch and apply rear brake. running the motor will sling oil up high on clutch along with the temp change expansion. Scary death wish method of with rear on the ground, start in gear and hold on while pulling clutch lever and applying the brake. After all that fails then start taking the basket apart to soak disks in oil. Safety says to do the take apart oil soak method before the death wish option. I've not had the chance to personally perform this on a bike motor car yet.

    Default Stuck clutch

Thank you all for your ideas. i think I'll try rocking in first when I get it off the stands. If that doesn't work i'll try something different.
