    Default Mission Race Cars

Does anyone know someone connected in any way to Mission Race Cars?

The FST site has an orange car #2 with what I believe is www.MissionRacCars.com but I can not connect to that site.
I have an intake scoop with a MRC decal and cooler scoop available for the taking.

Any info would be appreciated before I toss the items.

I built the MRC Formula Firsts. I sold the car I had along with the molds for the body work a few years ago. My MissionRaceCars site is gone. Here is the new builder. I don't know if they still race FST.

    Default Curious

Is this class still as active as when it started? I am very interested, but I am not seeing much for sale or much discussion here the chat section.

It is longer than the FV cars. An additional 2 inches is available, rules are 81.5 to 85.5. The original FV rules remains as conceived at 83.5 max.

Yea, I'd like about 5 more myself...

See above post by RGU since he, Robert, is kinda the keeper of the class. There is activity but I have no idea if it will ever get to the level it did or could. FV is still popular but the rules creep is just astounding. They allowed dics brakes but required them to stay within the stock max track so it sent people to develop, read expensive, brakes to fit an imaginary number.
When you look back at the original cars and sit a modern car alongside, you wonder how this happened. Just amazing!

It should have been 90 inches to start with. Some real interest interest in change.
