Default Trailer tire lockup - look for broken wires- DaveW was right

Starting a new thread because it deserves its own.

Had a trailer brake locking, mentioned it in another thread about bearing failure and spindle damage.

DaveW noticed and chimed in - thought it was most likely a broken wire to another brake.

Well, after tearing out all the shredded brake components and finding some sacrificial bearings to get me to a shop, I went over to the other side to disconnect the LF brake.

And guess what - it was disconnected for me.

Both wires broken at the crimp (admittedly a first for me, especially since they were well supported)

Great to have this place as a resource. Thanks Dave!
