    Default Fuel Pressure Sensor plumbing

Anyone have any pics of suggestions on plumbing in a fuel pressure sensor on an RF01 ?

The pigtail from the harness is below the intake and the fuel line is plumed above.

Open to replumbing the fuel lines if needed. How is yours plumbed?

I am sure some VD owners will chime in, but on the Citation I run a line from the plug in the fuel rail to the sensor and mount that in a rubber P clamp that is affixed to the block at one of the threaded bungs.

Thanks John. I did hear from someone and he said what you did.
Was concerned about having the sensor exposed.

Mine never had a sensor and the front rail is a plug.

Know what size the rail threading is? AN-10? 5/8 npt ?

I just drilled and tapped the plug for a pipe thread.

Here's how mine is connected. There is a banjo fitting on the fuel rail, so that is an AN3 thread. There is a short length of -3 steel braided line going to the actual sensor, which I've mounted to the side of the block in a large padded cable clamp. The clamp is attached to an aluminum plate that is mounted to the block, the oil filter is also clamped to this plate. The holes for both clamps have nut plates on the inboard side so I can remove either the sensor or oil filter without taking the plate off. Use Permatex thread sealer on any connection that is not AN. If you want a cable clamp, let me know, I'll send you a couple, I had to buy 12 from McMaster-Carr.

Interesting. Mine has a Schrader valve at the back for a test port.

I'm thinking of T ing off there. Do you have a test port somewhere else?

My car has the test port on the front side of the fuel rail. Do you have anything there? If not, switch the test port to the front and connect the pressure sensor to the rear side of the fuel rail.
