    Default SVRA also allowing porting

Earlier this year a friend told me about the new SCCA rule allowing PFMs to modify their Renesis motors by porting. I was curious if this would also be allowed in SVRA, so I asked, and the answer is yes.

Here is the quote from SVRA:

I have reviewed the SCCA Regulations pertinent to the Formula Atlantic class and the classification for the Renesis rotary engine. Based on our rules recognizing "1980 - current" open wheel racing cars, it is appropriate to allow the street or bridge-port modification as outlined in the Formula Atlantic Rules.”

    I hope this helps.

I don’t think I’ll do this to mine, at least now now, I thought some of you might find this helpful.
