Default Dunlop race tire date code?

Do race tires use the same date code format as DOT street tires?
I.e. was this tire made on the 18th week of 2016?

    Ian,

Looks exactly like the date code on their Motorcycle track day tires and I verified format with my dealer.
So I say yes, 18th week of 2016.
