    Default Gear Ratios

Can someone help me please and suggest starting gear ratios for Thunderhill for Pinto power FC car. Preparing to head south for the March Pacific event. My new grandson is in Sausalito so planning on going down to see him and do a race. Surprisingly my wife has agreed to this. Early start for this Canadian.

Default In a Pinto powered S2000...

I've always run the same gears at Thunderhill and Sears Point (Sonoma Raceway) 25 years ago in FC and today in S2. While not perfect because 1st could be a taller because there is nothing as slow as SPIRs T7 and T11 at Thunderhill. I'm also lazy so not having to change gears between races is a plus. Anyway...

With a 10:31 CWP and 22" rear tires:
    17:34
    20:31
    22:29
    24:27 - Tops out at ~6900 RPMs entering T1

Worked for me on all 3 track configurations at the last race back in October.
    Of course YMMV.

Thank-you, gives me a starting point. I carry lots of speed in slower sections so may move up 1st a set.
