    Default Suggested adhesive metal/composites Fromula/sports racer tub

    What readily available adhesive would members of the forum suggest to bond composite material to composite or compostie to metal on restoration of Formula or Sports Racer tubs/chassis? Appreciate any information and isight and THANKS!!!! Jerry

    Loctite Hysol 9460 Is what I have used for decades.

    My primary use is bonding the belly pans to the frames. Other than that it is my go to adhesive for almost anything on my cars.

    west systems epoxy (or similar) thickened with west systems 406 (colloidial silica) has worked well for me for bonding composite to composite especially parts I've made using the same resin in the original layup

    I hear that's getting hard to find. Any ideas where to get some from ?
