    Default Latest Data Acq Books

I have looked around at some data acquisition/analysis resources, and the following books seem to come up most frequently:
    - A Practical Guide to Race Car Data Analysis
    - Making Sense of Squiggly Lines
    - Analysis Techniques for Racecar Data Acquisition (2nd Edition)

Are these still the/some go-to resources, or are there others hiding in the shadows or on some racer's bookshelf somewhere?

Default Another (out-of-print) data acq. book

You might try to find a copy of "Data Power: Using Racecar Data Acquisition" by Buddy Fey. It is old (copyright 1993) but has lots of good basics info; because of its age, it won't be helpful on features of current data acq. systems/software, but the basics still hold true.

I just checked Amazon, the book on your list "Making Sense of Squiggly Lines" is available for ~$45. Your others and my suggestion are approx. $100+. Another option at $0, but with an emphasis on the AiM hardware & software are the webinars accessible thru the following URL (including links to those from several previous calendar years):

Good luck & post your results to this thread!

Get the Bob Knox book "A Practical guide to Race car Data" I carry it with me to the track. Has sections that apply to Aim, Pi and others. Good chapters on Math Channels.

"Making sense of Squiggly Lines" is good for your first read.

Fey gave a seminar on the Aim Youtube Series, watch it.
