    Default Old magazines

I've "inherited" a ton of old OnTrack and SportsCar magazines that are largely in great shape. I still have boxes of my own to go through and I'm wondering what to do with these? I hate the idea of just throwing them away but don't like the idea of them taking up space in the shop. Any ideas before they find their way to the dumpster?

    Hello Matt

I would be interested in those early 1970s Sports Car, as I have a gap in my collection there:
    1971 - 9
    1972 - 4
    1973 - 9

Would you be willing to post to uk? If not, my brother-in-law in Florida could receive them and I'll pick them up next time I'm over there. (Obvs I'd refund postage)

I hope all the others find a good home. Formula in particular was an excellent magazine.

    Many thanks
    Allen

    Edit: ^^^

I sent a letter to a noted racing history researcher who I think may be able to use them. They couldn’t go to a better place.

    Matt,

I am in the same situation - the Museum at Watkins Glen was taking some but I am sure they are now overloaded with common magazines, unless you have something unique like race programs or unique marketing brochures from back in the day...

I missed selling at the Lime Rock Vintage weekend, but I understand the cost of a space has gone up so may not be practical.

So motorsports museums and swap meets are options, as are eBay and Facebook Marketplace. (with the hassles for the last two)

Hopefully, someone here on ApexSpeed wants to complete their collection, or knows someone who does.

Matt, I also notified a second researcher about these...

There’s some overlap, but they’re temporarily caretaking my collection of 2,200 magazines while we travel.
