I know nothing about this guy or his story other than what I read here. While doing a boredom induced craigslist search I ran across this ad and it reminded me about this thread. Turns out the phone number in the craigslist ad matches a number listed in this thread.

This f***ing guy. I'm pretty sure he stumbles across a race car photo on the internet and promptly dreams up his next scam around that photo. This was posted on Facebook 2 days ago:

You really have to (sort of) admire his industry. Imagine if he put all that energy to some productive use.

The best part about this is the implication that owning a racecar can make anyone a return on their investment.

And his website he was boasting earlier this year about starting a series in October for $59,999 then December for $69,999 has gone dark. Did he take the money, run, and start this new Craigslist adventure that quickly?

Oh, the irony, an employee being referred to as “#2.”

Surely there’s a clue in there somewhere… but where, oh where…?

If he's advertising for a second mechanic for the "SVRA Indy Lights" it seems he must already have a sucker who bought him a car.

Rest assured there is no Indy Lights, no #1 mechanic, no shop, no hauler, probably not even a toolbox. What Jon Lewis DOES have is a vivid imagination.
