    Default AMB transponder curiosity

I have a rechargeable AMB Transx 260 that I've had for quite a while. Every time I've used it in the last 5 or so years I charge it until the green led lights up, when I disconnect it it flashes the green led 3 times and it's good for 3 day or so.
Last time I used it was February. Last Friday I hooked it up to the charger and after the green led came on I disconnected it and it flashes red 3 times not green.
I used a different transponder this weekend as I didn't want to deal with new problems. Has anyone else seen this green flash to red flash problem?

Default So, I'm replying to my own thread...

After consulting 3 AMB experts, what I'm seeing is abnormal but OK.
If the green LED turns on after charging, it doesn't matter what color the flashes are, 3 flashes means 3 days.
Apparently this only applies to first generation AMB TranX 260 transponders (a screw in each corner).

So I'm going to race with it in 2 weeks.
