We are asking 6k.
It is mostly dissembled, but all the parts for it is there, except for the engine block and head.

Koni dampers, Mk9 box, Hitech Exhaust system, starter and VD oil pan is all there.

We would like to stick firm with the price, as the gearbox alone is nearly worth what we are asking for the entire car.

We can locate you a complete engine if you want, or piece together the parts for another engine if you would like.

The car was fast back in the day, and should make a great club or vintage car now!

The 85/86 VD's were great cars. Stout, reliable and easy to work on - I loved mine. Maybe not the aero of a DB1, I give you that, but a reasonable facsimile!

"Some assembly required." Without a motor we'd call it a roller if it were together. He's right, though, that the asking price is about what the transmission alone is worth. It would be better if the car were completed rather than parted.
