Default How to mount a Garmin Catalyst

Curious if anyone has seen a Catalyst on an open wheel car and how the camera was mounted. The display would be non-visible obviously, but the audio cues fed to helmet could be useful and reviewing recommendations after the track session could yield a lot of useful recommendations.

No, actually just sold the Catalyst to a buddy and haven't picked up my car yet, so will revisit later this year. I hear a rumor there is a more formula friendly version coming out, but I was looking into fabricating something similar to the F1 "T" cam mount for the camera to sit inside and affix that to the top of the rollhoop.

The camera isn't the hard part, but I like your rollbar solution. Where are you going to fit the 7" tablet?

it doesn't appear it needs an actual front facing orientation since the accelerometer is in the camera, so I was thinking (for my car) along the right hand side. A cage mount would be fairly easy to affix there above my right thigh, set back within the tubes so it doesn't impact ingress/egress
