Default Unbelievable support from the FF community this weekend!

So, I just got back from Mosport. It was a 3-day event (Pinty's, FEL series, etc) where the Toyo F1600 series was featured. Friday we had practice then qually, two races on Saturday, and one this AM. The results were beyond what I was expecting. Two wins and a second. Remarkable, for me. Apparently, he$$ did in fact freeze over this week.

What was more remarkable, although after all these years I'm not sure why I should still be surprised, is how a whole pile of people pulled together to make this happen after a fairly decent shunt in qually. I won't go into the details, but those of you familiar with ANY of them would completely expect the eviscerating humor emanating from this group during the Friday nite midnite paddock thrash on the car. While some beer may have been involved and is obviously clouding my judgement, these guys are of great fiber and ridiculously devoted to our sport. I want to publicly thank them (and if I have left someone out, let me know. Like I said, beer was involved):

    In no particular order:

    - Brian Graham (Brian Graham Racing)
    - Steve Wagland
    - James Lindsay
    - Steve Lindsay
    - Steve Bodrug (yeah, we have a lot of Steve's up here)
    - Craig Pick
    - David Clubine (BritainWest Motorsport)

To the others that I know I have forgotten (it was a really long day), thank you as well. And, for what it is worth, having the F1600 cars at the same venue as the Pinty cars was an eye opener for fans - we had people telling us all weekend that ours was the best racing out there!

    cheers,
    BT
